Who is responsible for your data
Octolytics, Inc. ("Octolytics," "we," "us"), a company incorporated in the United States with registered address at 195 US Highway 50, PO Box 1036, Ste 410, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448, USA, is the data controller ("responsable") for personal data collected through octolytics.com, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and, where applicable to visitors from the European Economic Area, the GDPR. For privacy requests in Mexico, our contact address is Av. P.º de la Reforma 333, Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico.
Privacy contact: [email protected].
Scope
This policy covers personal data collected through this marketing website: the demo request form, the careers application flow, and site cookies and logs.
It does not cover telemetry processed by the OCTOCX platform on behalf of our mobile operator customers. That processing is governed by the data processing agreement in the applicable enterprise contract, where the operator is the data controller and Octolytics acts as data processor. If you are a subscriber of one of our operator customers, direct your privacy requests to that operator.
What we collect
- Demo request form: company name, your name, business email, phone number, operator or region of interest, and any message you enter.
- Careers application: name, contact details, and your CV file, including any information you choose to include in it.
- Site usage: standard server logs (IP address, browser and device type, pages visited).
- Cookies and analytics: this site always sets
i18n_redirected(essential — remembers your language preference). We use Google Analytics to understand site usage, configured with Google Consent Mode. Before you make a choice, and if you decline, Analytics runs in a cookieless mode: it stores no analytics cookie and no persistent identifier on your device, and sends Google only limited, aggregated measurement signals (such as the page viewed and an approximate location derived from your IP address) that are not used to identify you. Only if you accept do we set Google Analytics cookies (_gaand_ga_<container-id>, each retained approximately 2 years), which enable session- and visitor-level measurement. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie Preferences" in the footer. If we add other services that set additional cookies, we will update this list.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (health, biometric, religious, political, or similar) through this website. This website is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Purposes
- Primary: responding to demo requests, evaluating sales and partnership inquiries, evaluating job applications and contacting candidates, operating and securing the website.
- Secondary: improving the website and, only if you request it, sending you product information. You may opt out of secondary purposes at any time by emailing [email protected].
Legal basis
Consent (submitting a form is an affirmative act), our legitimate interest in operating a business website, and compliance with applicable law.
Transfers and service providers
We use third-party providers to operate this website: cloud hosting on Google Cloud, Twilio SendGrid for transactional email delivery, and Google Analytics for site usage analytics (which, until you consent, operates in the cookieless mode described under "Cookies and analytics" above). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual and security commitments. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred internationally, including to data centers outside Mexico, we take appropriate steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Your rights (ARCO), revocation, and limits on use
You may Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Oppose the processing of your personal data, revoke consent previously given, and request limits on the use or disclosure of your data. Email [email protected] with your request, a description sufficient to identify your data (for example, the email address you used on a form), and the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also file a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, such as the duration of a sales inquiry or hiring process, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Security
Octolytics maintains an information security management system certified against ISO/IEC 27001. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we hold. If we become aware of a security breach affecting personal data collected through this website, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
